Exports in Chile increase 30% in the year

The Chilean exports had an annual increase of 31.6 % during this past November, making a total of US$ 6,546.2 million.

According to the Central Bank, the imports reached US$ 4,969.1 million in the eleventh month of the year, increasing a 29.7%.

For this reason, the commercial surplus of the country reached US$ 1,577.1 million, which can be compare in a positive way with the US$ 1,141.8 million during the same period of time of the last year.

Until November of this year, the surplus of the commercial balance reached US$ 12,729.9 million; this represents a 3.48% more than in the same period of 2009.

Between January and November, the exports reached US$62,207 million, which represents an increase of 29.2%. Meanwhile, the imports reached US$49,477 million in that period, against the US$35,864 million of one year ago.
