CORFO's InvestChile presents Chile's opportunities and advantages to Spanish investors.

Spain's intense interest in investing in Chile became evident in Madrid, after the Chile: Legal Keys and Investment Opportunities event that included the participation of several Spanish business sectors that were all gathered together for the occasion.

Attendees showed praise saying "Chile is the start of Latin America" after the event that also gathered representatives of the Chilean public and private sphere, showing advantages and opportunities that the country offers for foreign investors.

The meeting dealt with subjects such as the Chile's development, the country as an investment platform, and the investment opportunities in infrastructure, among others. The meetings were held by the Chilean Ambassador in Spain, Sergio Romero, the Executive Director of CORFO's InvestChile, Juan Antonio Figueroa, and the President of the A.G. Civil Infrastructure Works Concessionary Association, Clemente Pérez.

"We are creating the best conditions to attract investors and as CORFO's InvestChile we are focused on facilitating this investment process. Chile has a good future and Latin America, a good forecast. We now have to compare with developed countries in order to continue growing", said the Executive Director of CORFO's InvestChile.

The Chilean Ambassador in Spain, added: "We have a coherent infrastructure, where we can highlight the rule of law, full transparency, Independent Central Bank, Constitutional Court: Competition Court and a Subsidiary, Regulatory and Fiscally Responsible state. The strategic focus establishes that the rules of the game are a warranty for the investor in Chile".

The event was organized by CORFO's InvestChile with the collaboration of the Chile's Chamber of Commerce in Spain and the Chilean law firm Guerrero, Olivos, Novoa and Errazuriz, and the Spanish firm Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira.

The event gathered a large number of participants, which provided evidence of the interest that Chile arouses in the Spanish business management which sees Chile as a land of opportunities for the development of their ideas and businesses.
